How the UK’s largest passenger carrying airline implements changes to improve its services for passengers



easyJet sought to improve their pre-flight operational handling and passenger experience with a new hand luggage policy. This required a partner to manage the design, manufacture and delivery of bespoke, brand compliant luggage gauges with clear multi-language messaging within an 8 week no-fail deadline.



easyJet partnered with FT Solutions due to their extensive experience in project and supply chain management. FT Solutions worked closely with easyJet on prototype designs to ensure all needs were met, such as durability, brand compliance and language variations in the printed panels.

Production commenced and FT Solutions liaised directly with all freight forwarders and customs agencies to manage the delivery of the gauges – a turnkey solution.



FT Solutions met the no-fail deadline, delivering 1,300 brand compliant luggage gauges in 12 languages to 137 airports in 34 countries across the entire EasyJet network including all of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. easyJet successfully implemented their new hand luggage policy offering an improved inflight experience for passengers.

FT Solutions continue to support easyJet with on demand requirements for more gauges in new airports as the airline expands its operations.
